Case Study
Cromweld Steels owned the rights for 3CR12 which is an austenitic, unitity stainless steel with exceptional corrosion and abrasion rresistant properties compared to mild steel but much more cost effective than 304 stainless and similar.
They were a client of mine when I was enbgaged by TPR in Staffordshire. I worked as PR Account Manager and in conjunction the agency's Advertising Account Manager.
Cromweld was a single produc client used in a vast rage of industrial applications including automotive, mining power generation, agriculture, marine and general fabrication.
I researched and wrote material about how their customers used their product. I undertook photography on their customers sites and managed events and exhibitions including Press Conferences aimed at journalists in some of their market areas including automotive. These events proved very beneficial for the client in builkding relationships with influential journalists in the market sectors.
I also wrote and managed the production of the 3CR12 technical handbook.
I was once asked to research and create a story about how their steel was being used in a coal bunker, It turned out to be the coal bunkers at Drax Power Station where I had to take a generator in to photograph the bunker because there was no 13Amp socket.
